ERASMUS+ INTERNATIONAL CREDIT MOBILITY PROJECT: UNIVERSITY OF WEST BOHEMIA / LADISLAV SUTNAR FACULTY OF DESIGN AND ART and HOLON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The aim of the credit mobility project is to confirm and develop the initiated cooperation and partnership between the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art and the Holon Institute of Technology in Holon, Tel Aviv, Israel (HIT).
HIT is an internationally recognised research and educational institution established for the cultivation of design and scientific and technical disciplines. The partnership and mutual mobility of students and employees is in the context of the multidiscliplinarity of both institutions a major benefit for the applicability of graduates on the labour market, development of the quality of design studies, teaching, research, innovation and applications in various technological fields.
Within our faculty, intensive cooperation between teachers and students of both institutions is successfully developing, especially in the Interactive Design Studio. Thanks to the financial support, the Masaryk Square AR/VR project, dedicated to the common Czech-Israeli cultural heritage, the DesAIgn and Text-Code-Image conferences on various aspects of the intersection of science, art and design, workshops of faculty teachers within the HIT International Design Week and the exhibition of Israeli teacher Eitan Bartal in the Ladislav Sutnar Gallery have been held so far.

The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art has so far managed to obtain financial support in two Erasmus+ calls for the period 7/2019-7/2022 and 9/2023-6/2026
