The main idea of the project, which arose from the cooperation with Strunal Schönbach, was to design an elegant modern lightweight shape of a musical instrument with its silhouette still reminiscent of a classical cello. For many musicians their instrument is not only a piece of musical equipment but also a fashion accessory. Visual appearance is a vital aspect of the cellos currently available on the market. The designer drew inspiration from shapes found in nature and the dynamic shapes of vehicles and spaceships. The design merges the past, present and future, creating an instrument that is functional, but looks like a fashion accessory at the same time.
