On Saturday, October 27, the Prague Gallery of Czech Centres launched a book entitled "The Good 100". The book can be purchased here.
In 2018, students of the Studio of Sculpture and Space participated in workshops guided by professor Jiří Beránek and the result are Land-art Artworks which surround the castle Klenová.

The 23rd annual film festival was launched on September 28. One of the short films that opened the event was the three-minute film created by the assistant professor from the studio Animation and Interactive Art, Vojtěch Domlátil.

This inspiration resulted in the book "Sutnar Shapes" which was awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. The publication was released last fall and its concept and graphic design were created by the head of the Studio of Graphic Design, Kristýna Fišerová.
An international film festival dedicated to animated films took place on the shores of Lac d'Annecy during the second week of June. The MIFA (Marché International du Film d'Animation) film market, which is according to the organizers, the largest animation event in the world, took place in parallel with the festival. The film "After" made by Matouš Valchář was the only Czech film presented in the section Graduation Films in Competition.
Richard Saul Wurman, the pioneer of the so-called "Information architecture", took the Ladislav Sutnar Prize on Tuesday, June 12. He was awarded the prestigious prize in the Pilsen City Hall by the hands of the Dean Josef Mištěra and Deputy and Secretary of the Mayor, Mr. Martin Baxa.
The winner in the category for the best visual impression was the computer game "Under Leaves" which was created by a student of the Studio of Animation and Interactive Art Barbora Podhorská.

On Monday, April 23, the Baroque Clam-Gallas Palace in Prague became the centre of the eleventh edition of the annual festival Prague Photo. This year's special prize for artists under 30 years, YOUNG AWARD 2018, was awarded to students of Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art.
For the first time in history, the Hollar Foundation moves the exhibition Graphic Art of the year 2017 and The Vl. Boudník award from the traditional space of the Clam-Gallas Palace in Prague to the Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen. The exhibition will be on display from May 18.
Hinter Musegg Heubühne spaces, which are located behind the walls of the historic city of Lucerne, hosted on Wednesday, April 4 the exhibition entitled "Czech Comic From Pilsen." The exhibition presented works created by students of the Studio Comics and Illustrations for Children.

Talente is an annual international competition for new talents in the field of applied arts which was founded in 1980. The selected participant can only exhibit once and must be under the age of 35.
Adam Frk, a student of the first year of the Master's degree programme Fashion Design, was awarded the HDS/L Junior Award 2018. This competition is organized by the Bundesverband der Schuh- und Lederwarenindustrie.
23. ročník filmového festivalu byl zahájen 28. září a jedním z krátkých filmů, které jej otevíraly, byl i tříminutý film odborného asistenta ateliéru Animovaná a interaktivní tvorba Vojtěcha Domlátila.

Na Klenové vznikla v rámci projektu přeshraniční spolupráce v průběhu roku 2018 landartová díla, která vytvořili během týdenních workshopů pod vedením profesora Jiřího Beránka studenti ateliéru Socha a prostor Fakulty designu a umění Ladislava Sutnara. Jejich díla naleznete v okolí hradu Klenová, kde dotvářejí vznikající landartovou stezku.
Komponovaný večer k výročí Mnichovské dohody sklidil velký úspěch. Podívejte se na něj objektivem studentů Štěpánky Vackové a Kryštofa Novotného a poslechněte si jej ze záznamu ČRo Vltava.
Absolventky ateliéru kov a šperk prezentují své závěrečné práce na výstavě International Graduation Show v nizozemské galerii Marzee.
U příležitosti dalšího z osmičkových výročí připravila Plzeňská filharmonie ve spolupráci s Ústavem pro studium totalitních režimů a naší fakultou koncert, na němž zazní kompozice, v nichž skladatelé reagovali na ohrožení Československa ze strany nacistického Německa.
