Faculty of design anf Art is dominated by applied research with a focus on interdisciplinary results especially of a non-publication nature. In terms of grants received and contracted collaboration with external entities from the public or non-profit sector, it is possible to identify its main areas of research, namely orientation towards innovation in medicine, materials research and production technologies, sustainability and biodiversity protection, digital media and interactive design, art-based research and art theory.
