For the first time in history, the Hollar Foundation moves the exhibition Graphic Art of the Year 2018 and The Vl. Boudník Prize from the traditional premises of the Municipal House in Prague to Pilsen in the Ladislav Sutnar Gallery. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with our Faculty and the SUTNAR – THE RADOSLAV AND ELAINE SUTNAR FOUNDATION. The exhibition presents diverse graphic works, art techniques and a beautifully written book which were all created by both established artists and students from all over the country. The exhibition includes a video map of activated Boudník's graphics that were used in the premises of the Municipal House in Art Nouveau architecture.
On the 3rd of February, the splendid Municipal House in Prague hosted the Graphic Art of the Year event. Coinciding with this was the 24th Vladimir Boudník Prize Award was also held, and successful artists were acknowledged for their outstanding life-long contribution to the field of graphic arts.
Part of the opening, which was held on the 3rd of April, was the presentation of a collaborative drawing created by 1st year students of the Studio Illustration Graphic Art (Denisa Váňová, Lucie Dehnerová, Tereza Laznová, Yuliya Lupsiakova, Veronika Štorková and Mikuláš Kalný) under the guidance of Mr. Bedřich Kocman.
