The collection entitled "NAZDAR/HELLO" draws inspiration from sgraffiti created by her ancestor Alois Mudrunka in the small town Uhersko. These sgraffiti represent a kind of jewel to the town and its inhabitants. The necklaces and brooches are made from veneer (ash tree and ebony wood) in combination with brass details. The jewellery cooperates with the human body, it becomes an organic material which changes and moves on the body thanks to its flexibility. Adéla also used her experience from her previous studies in the Fashion design studio.
The annual event at the Marzee Gallery in the Netherlands presents a selection of jewellery and objects created by over 100 graduates from 40 different art universities and academies from around the world. The gallery has been supporting young artists this way since 1986. The best graduates thus have an exceptional opportunity to exhibit in a world-renowned gallery, one of the biggest galleries in the Netherlands and the biggest gallery of contemporary jewellery design in the world.
The exhibition will take place 20 August - 25 October 2017.
